I want something turbo'd from the factory. So far I'm leaning towards 13b, 1jz, and s20. I'm trying to keep some weight balance and get power out of the thing.

4L vs 5.7-6L hmmmm I wonder what I would pick. Almost a hundred more hp out of an IHE LS2 compared to a 4L aurora.

yeah but you also have to realize 6.0Lvs4.0l pushrods vs dohc i wonder witch would be more reliabel?

also annother engine you could use if you want to turbo and want decent torque would be a ka24 then turbo it
it will never be as rev happy as a d15 but will have good torque
or a 7mge could be fun

Biggest production 4cyl.

I hear good things about them as well, some kind of quirkiness with the transmissions but the engine is apparently stout.

pushrod 6L > dohc 4L... aftermarket support.

Good point about the 944t engine.. I need to look into that option too.

13b is what I'm shooting for... I want to have some decent handling and I think the 13b will put most of the motor weight on top of and behind the front wheels. Now I just need to find an FC with a rough body but running motor...

I HATE those engines. Why in the hell did they design the head like that?

The 20v head?

Or which? IIRC most of those cars had 4v per cyl, even the 3L I4.
