Default D-Series Diff Side Clearance? (Mista Bone)

Does anyone know the side clearance of the housing to the Diffing in a D-Series Tranny. I'm pulling my LSD out of a ---- broke Tranny and popping it into a newer one. I can't recall the clearances. I know max is .004" but is there a min?

.000-.004", I prefer the .004-.006" myself due to heat expansion.

SCCA/NASA trannys get abused quite often......

Thanks man.

My diff has a larger width then the one that came out, I'll have to measure the shims and see what I end up with.
