I have a line on a 95 GSR trans with a busted case for cheap and my brother has a 92 LS cable trans. I have read that the gears can be swapped into the cable trans, but I don't know for sure. Can I just put the GSR 2-4 on the LS shafts and keep the LS 5th for cruising? It looks to me that it can be done, but I am getting that info from the Helms manuals. Help is appreciated.

 

yes it can be done the drive shafte between the two tranny's are the same size
