I am assuming too tight clearances...its possible I lost oil pressure in that area, I'm not sure how that would happen as oil pressure has been great in this motor, but who knows. It was a good H22 crank (was in the motor before) with a set of STD ACL bearings, so who knows.
As far as the oil pan, this is what came from my friend, not sure why it came this way, and I am not sure it provides any extra cooling...its just what we had. This car is mainly a track car but it raised fairly high (for an H22 in an EG) so I havent had any bottoming out issues.

Hope the crank is still good. Ya, thatd be cool if hell help you out... ACLs are cheap!!! LOL. Before when my car was slammed I was concerned about shttering the cast pan, now, my cars prettttty high it wouldnt be an issue, but was curious if there was a reason you were using it (ALL H22A4s came whit the cast pan).

Seems like that bearing has been taking a beating for sometime. Intrested to see what the other 3 look like.
No ----. The big all motor prelude motor I tuned has been nothing but headaches from day one or should I say multiple big allmotor prelude motors.
