BDV have you checked out racerstev's heat treatment. lots of people on honda tech with heavy cars that were eating gears had it done and havent broken one since. hes had lots of good results with it and supposedly is reasonably priced.
his S/N on H-T is racerstev (obviously) if your gonna build a tranny you may want to check that out.

Josh sorry about the gatorade incident today... Fun wheelin...THE TRANNY lives another day... I also added more weight today... A JL 10w3 in a ported enclosure and a Fosgate POWER 200... that and the Alpine highs sound good, WTF, 40 lbs aint gonna hurt it any more, and im siick of not having tunes. Got the stereo ---- for FREE, Zilch... NADDA....
Anyways...
Ya B SERIES will be the way later after I get the front suspension and brakes converted (5 lug
), and this ****** painted...Just curious if anyone knows what engine positioning/trans positioning issues I/We will see....

Just a dumb noob thought, but if you think it's the transmission case flexing, is there a way you could brace the hell out of the case/bellhousing to prevent that from happening? Might be cheaper/simpler...
