Last time (Ver 1.001a) It made 425 whp and 335 tq at like 6800 and 16 pounds (with flat cams and fucked up rockers).... Not to mention the ignition breaking up too... I was Plagued by lots of ----, which is why ive been such a african american about getting the car how I want it before getting on the dyno again. Last time I was left with a motor that had consumed cams, rockers and pistons. Ive beat this ------- thing for 4k miles and it is happy as hell... (verified that the valvetrain is all good, compressions good, doesnt burn ---- for oil, good vacuum etc.) Manifold has been repaired, New Royal purp in the pan, new filter, new brakes and some ------- tired, beat tires
I read a bunch of ---- about resistor plugs rectifying the issues i was seeing (breakuop not blowout - had none of that), and having tried a KNOWN good dizzy, ignitor, new wires new plugs (Same as I was running in the first place) and extensive grounding... STILL it would ---- up. Changing the plugs to the resistor plugs(Reid mentioned it too) fixed the issue... If not, I also have an MSD 7AL2 box thats going in this ****** if need be. Its chillin in my basement.
I had to get the irridums due to them being the only NGKs i could get in a 8 heat range AND resistor... Gapped at .021 (as before), and have not had 1 hint of any ignition ------y.
Going to the dyno with extra set of plugs, some oil... 5 gallons of race gas, and my nigs. Car is running VERY WELL right now, cant wait to see... The dyno im putting it on is known to be a "heartbreaker" compared to other dynojets around so we will see...
Oh and I DID rememgber to bring a digital camera that does video, so we will have some footage.

yea, put grounds on dizzy, etc. maybe add a bigger vc ground.

Requires (in order of difficulty/complexity) shielding some wires Mr Honduh didn't shield from the factory, filter circuits and such, or turning the fragile analog dist sensor signals immediately to robust digital ones. It's twice as hard as running robust fuel pump wiring.
