Can you at least get some treated/upgraded gears?

Ya cryo and theres another hardening proccess...cant remember the name.. Im researching now. Frankensteining my old blown up M2F4 with a friends M2F4 cluster and gonna try to get a working nig out of the two of them... LOL..

Of course pics as soon as they are available... This one made more noise than the other one...LOL. Pics saturday when its apart.....

whatever box you settle on, if you can get a gearset (or even just the problem gears, fwd mazda guys get third) cut with a larger tooth profile it will help prevent this from happening. it helps in two ways : the tooth/teeth that are taking the load are stronger when they are larger, and if you are getting shaft flex (whats the layout of the box?) it has to flex more before it goes completely so at the existing flex level, it will hold though it may not last that well. sounds like you simply have literally more than the gear can take regardless of how much you beat on it.

Send me one of your extra reverse forks out of one of those tranny's, and I contacted GEARSPEED for a fully built trans OMFG $2300. I'm not going that route.

Ya i can send you one... next week ------, cool Im looking into some ---- today... The twin is killing me with its not giving (slipping) AT ALL... Talked to Tony Palo for a minute... got a couple other things looking into as well... Such as a Tilton Flow controll line... Said he made over 100 passes on a stok H tranny at 750+ HP with one..... ZHelps allieviate some drivetrain shock load... 250 bux.

Gearspeed told me they dont even like to ---- with H trannys... I drove it to work today, taking it to my boys house later and Josh and I are going to take 4th off of another gear stack i got and put the "old" M2F4 back in that I originally fucked up.... Just gotta try and be nicer to it. This motor is ------- wicked.....

Guess it could be worse, could be the motor... hahaha my motor Breaks ----!!!

congradulations on all the power and working through the problems.. now instead of 1000 dollar motor problems you have 600 tranny problems.. it seems as if the gremlins have it out for you.. i cannot remeber for the life of me a company i was checking into that offered upgraded gears and carbon syncros's and with the extra money they would even through an LSD set up in there but i had heard nothing but good things about them.. i will look into it a little more and see if i can recall the company name.. i hate to see that much money tied in something and you cant even tear the ---- out of when you want without ---- breaking..

**edit** i just looked at gearspeed's site.. it may have been them but if it is i was looking at trannies long before anyone made 600+hp on a honda motor and there prices have skyrocketed since..

Yeah but did you really expect a stock H series transmission to stand up to the motor in the first place?

Ive never owned a 600 whp honda before... But there are people whom use the STOCK H tranny with successful results (with alot more power than Im making). I think the weight of the car and the shock of the twin is doing it... Tranny case flexes, shafts seperate and BOOM... The weight of the car is contributing im sure as well...
