Ya the tranny is out at my buddys house where I work on the car ( he has a nice 2 car shop on his back 40 and allows me to do all my work out there)... Really good deal, hes an ASE Toyota guy, hes got like everything Ya could ever need... I will measure them next time i go out there, but to the eye, they are reallllly close in size to one another. I believe its the picture that makes it look all fucked up...
I will be rebuilding THAT tranny, the case is all good, and the rest of the gears looked cherry too.. just buy a new 4th gear set and new carbon synbcros, slap her back together and pu5t it back in.... I think its a litlle quicker with that trans, but the freway is way more fun with this one.. LOL
Ill have a new STRONG trans in it soon, as new oversized rotors and Hawke pads... cause ya it REALLY doesnt stop too welll in all honesty.

question... did you break in the engine after the build or did you just start getting on the pedal and doing burnouts right away?

lots of partial throttle loading and unloading tuning part throttle to get the rings seated... It didnt smoke at all... tuned into boost, cracked vtec, and noticed that it was dropping rail pressure up top due to my 1000s getting maxed quickly. so... Tuned it up to 16-17 psi with boost cut at 19.
I have been alot more conscious of the limiter this time around, and attempting to feather the gas to get it hooked up when it spins third badly up top. It just makes power so quick that it is hard... Think we are going to bump the limiter up a bit too... dDepending on if things look good. Its fast as it is, another 7 PSI should be ridiculous!!!

After I changed the regulator, and verified that the fuel issue was all good and that AFr's were copeshetic, I started railing on it pretty good. I put about 500-750 on it before railing on it hard. Its running great thus far with almost 3000 miles on it. Supposed to meet Dave Wedensday if its not raining and tune a little hiccup in the part throttle due to changing regulators.
Were gonna put a good dose of 114 in it 50% 92/ 50% 114 - and try to tune up around 25 psi at which time ill dyno it again.
It was my birthday today.... so when my dad showed up, Me and Ross were trying to haze my old man top go for a ride in it, but He had ---- to do, and well... Id rather take him for a ride at 25 psi anyways and give him the full ride!!!!
