Yup, what I was afraid of.... Mine has rounded *** edges where the flatspot trasitions to the outer diameter of the snout....... I think Im fucked..... theres only like 1/2 " of totally flat area. ----... im going to go look after work today, ill take pics when I see... May need a crank which sux as this one is in good shape otherwise....

So Ineed a 50mm crank, I have an extra 55... Wont work, ------- wierd, the H22a (JDM) and H22A1 blocks have the 50mm mains, AS DO THE '97 A4, AFTER 97... They went to 55mm (OBD2 cars)... I got the older newer motor.. LOL...
Should be easier to find one now though, the A4 was a bit rough to find.

If you were not fat I know someone I went to college with about a hour away from you that has one just sitting in their garage thats perfectly mint. But since your fat well you dont get that one either. Have you looked into getting a F22 crank from a local junk yard. They the same too ya know. But again your probably too fat to crawl under a car to get it out your self. Oh well good luck queer.
