My old boss used to use that word a LOT, I can't say I've ever heard anyone else use it till now, but what an excellent word it is :-)

Agree that there is no time to look at ---- like that during a gear, esp if you are driving round corners, there is NEVER a moment to look at gauges. On a critical system like a boat or probably plane, you use bells and lights to do it such that you can hear it over the engine and see it if you are looking. Perhaps consider getting a mild siren or bell (moderately deaf people can still hear bells due to the spectrum) hooked to a pressure sensor? You can find some oil pressure switches at higher than the normal 5psi to drive it usefully.

BLAH bull ----. Thats why I got gauges right in my sight and not tucked towards the ground so it's sleeprer style. Spiker I hope you learn and realize the term HEADS UP. You can see the road and a spilt second you can browse all the gauges without dropping eyesite/your dome. Many of you ****** rant on me for my gauges/heads up stuf"blue dash" but yet have I ever ever fucked up a shift or not seen a alarm on the gauges to turn the key off instantly.
