why would anyone take a chassis dyno seriously that was done in a gear other than 1:1

400whp and 317tq with a nice multiplication from the trans!

12 flat in a hatch with 400whp???? oh wait intake temps were 150degrees that prob killed 150hp that day. it really does make 400!

ok haters...heres the deal. i just found out i didnt make the record for most hp on the stock head...i guess some car that courtney green tuned in utah 3 years ago holds the record of 421...sooooo....im thinking aobut going back to the dyno this friday or sat in order to break the record...ill get it all on tape so i can prove it to you people.

what gear would you like me to do it on?
cause 3rd istn 1:1 and neither is 4th ---- it ill do them both.

just for clarification i ran the 11.98 like almost 2 months ago...it was 108 degress that day, track temps were over 150 (thats what they said on teh p.a.) and corrected elevation was 7200 feet above sea level. also i was on 22psi, the day before the dyno i did a boost leak test cause i had my suspiscions, and sure as ---- i found a leaky coupler and 3 pin holes in one of my charge pipes. this car has NEVER run this hard before. im confident that it will go 11.5's right now. Firebird raceway here in boise is gay and they dont have races everyweekend so i cant get to the track as much as i would like. and btw this is in a full weight 4dr that weighed 2580 on teh scale at the track, with me in it, its over 2700 lbs.

3rd is what about ~1.2-1.3:1?

depending on what trans you have 4th will be ~.9-1.02:1 which is a lot closer.

you're skewing your dyno results by dynoing in that gear, i wouldn't be suprised if there was other things (corrections) "tweaked" on the dyno
