this is toooooo funny! JD that Pic is ------ genious!!

Fook the dip is strange...i had 3 pulls at the dyno day and this is the only graph that had the dip in it. (i was complimented by the guy runing the dyno that this was the smoothest dyno graphs he had seen all day) one guy that was watching my wideband said it was a steady 11.5-11.8 and then it blipped to 12.8 for a split second...im thinking thats where the dip was. im also thinking maybe it was caused from too loose of gap on the plugs. on the 3rd run, it blew the spark out in the last 500 rpms or so...my gap is at .028 with bcprs7e's

ososlohatch, for one im not a kid lol, im 29 years old. ive been doing this honda ---- for 15+ years now. my father is a factory trained master honda tech who owns the largest honda service/repair shop besides the honda dealer in the whole state. he has been working on hondas since 77' trust me i know wtf im doing and i dont need a dyno in order to make a car run well. ive tuned many hondas on the street and all have been to teh dyno and laid down numbers that were more than the owner expected. believe it or not this car laid down the numbers and thats all there is to it.

Only thing there is that the pistons are backwards, the exhaust valve recesses are on the inlet valve side. But that doesn't matter unless your timing belt snaps.
These don't look like Suzuki made pistons though.
Great numbers, I've seen similiar numbers on those pistons before.

uhm what? the pistons have valve reliefs on both sides...im 99% sure they are in there right. and you are right they are not OEM suzuki pistons, they are aftermarket, replacement pistons for the vitara, these have a special coating on them as well...all this info is second hand from FJT. idk where he gets them from but the box they came in was not OEM suzuki. i really dont give a ---- though, this thing hauls serious ass and runs good at the track. thats all i care about idgaf what kinda hp numbers it makes as long as it gets me deep into the 11's. and for a full weight 4dr civic with a sohc...thats sick no matter how you look at it.

The recesses on the inlet side are a little bit bigger.

No..the pistons are not OEM Suzuki but they are OEM Replacements.. Its the first time i see replacements working better than the OEM..Must be because theyre made to OEM specs but have some lil extra things in the design(like the coating and double oil holes for better lubrication)

and to the hater...you should come to P.R. and see all the cars that run this setup..My car has run vitaras for 2 years at 18PSIs daily on the street(sometimes overboosted to 30PSI) with 93octane pump gas and the guy who inspired me to use them has been running them on his car for over 3 years at 22+PSI daily. And this is not the only high whp setup on vitaras there are some others with over 300whp.

405whp, 354whp,325whp, 323whp, 316whp, 303whp

There are people who make 300-330 whp for short durations on bone stock bottom ends.

If there is no detonation, meaning no hammering pressure spikes and no out of control temperatures, ososlobrain hasn't explained to me how a chunk of metal fails.
