Surley they will work, and lower the compression

they will stick out the block. its been awhile since i played w/ the calculator and vitaras, but i think i worked it out where i could use vitaras and two a6 headgaskets stacked, and compression would be descent, but i dont trust stacking head gaskets.

2 gaskets, or maybe one thick one (after market gasket).

Could be an intresting build.

The D15 blocks are peanuts, and D series parts are cheap as well.
:6

What kind of power do you think you will put down?

i have no interested in talking about my build in this thread, or any other, and frankly dont care how much power i put down. i am not interested in a dyno queen (if thats even possible w/ a D15) goal is a reliable, CHEAP, street driven car.

Re: d15b2 power?

I do have a question :D
I though VX rods wont fit a D15b1/7, as the crank is diffrent.

Putting the assumption on
d15b7 head, block
PM7 pistons
standard head gasket.

Makes compression at 10.71387872199746,
whilst stock is 9.1

But if you change the head from a
d15b7/1 to a
D16Z6,
Compression is 11.795009260090053

>:D

Ofcousre i do not know if i have done this calculations correctly :S

I used this caculator http://www.knology.net/~jediklc/D.htm
