Everything this motor ever went through was very well known. The motor was built with the bearings on the loose side (.0015) and when the motor was picked up we took the oil pan off to look inside. The bearings could have taken a beating from detonation, but I doubt they are anything near failure.

Is ssl2k blaming steve...maybe, but for the most part hes just pissed that hes gotta stick more money into that motor. Yeah he bought it knowing the risk. And as far as taking the head off when we bought it...lol we had a hard time finding a 10mm for the oil pan.

They're weren't knocking so they probably do still have some life in them, its just that the detonation will scar them

if I bought a motor not knowing the exact condition, but knowing it smoked I wouldn't expect money back from the seller when I found this, especially since so many people had seen the car running, rode in it (me) or driven it. I'd be pissed, but I wouldn't expect money back. but when someone tells me to choke on my genitals and spells a word wrong, you know they just got self pwnzored.
