I'm not about to take a motor apart when I'm packing up my house to move. Especially when I didn't even have a buyer.
I advertised the motor with the assumption that it was the rings, but maybe a rocket scientist would be able to tell you that if I didn't take the motor apart, I couldn't have known anything for sure. It could have been a number of things.
I'm the furthest person you would ever meet from "shady". I already committed to helping Nathan with this even though this "shady" guy could have took the technical "as-is" route.
You shouldn't give a ---- about my rep. It's not up to you to keep.

i think you are doing more then you should but thats just me. i read the add and was about to get it but decided not to once i read the whole "smoked" part. maybe he should have took into consideation what it could have been to be making the engine smoke.

i have been reading this whole post and it seems like stealthmode is a pretty good seller since he is trying to make good on something he knew nothing about.

Stealth is taking this very well, if your not smart enough to check out a 17 psi mill that already has a problem that your unsure about, I dont think you can bitch. You rolled the dice and came up with ----. You cant go back on the lottery if your ticket dosen't win. I think it is very nice of steath to "work this out" I hope it works out for both off you

sh*t like this happens now and then when buying ANY used parts.every month you see a topic like "bought used turbo,seller said it had small amount of shaft play but SHOULD tighten right up with oil in it.turbo is fuc*ed up completely though".Everyone blames both parties.thats just the way it works.let them work something out.
