JeffsCiv23 in response to ur comment about pictures I think its great that SSL2k posted up some pics. I think that it helps most of us see what can happen and helps us learn. So don't start knockin on him because he posted pics. Im sorry SSL2k that sux that this had to happen especially to u considering ur situation. Good luck with it though man im sure it will work out. I also agree that there is no obligation for Stealth but it would be nice for help if its finiding ssl2k cheaper pistons or slight compensation.

i dont know what the ---- the whole problem is. he bought the motor from steve AS-IS and steve even mentioned that there was smoke and did not know what the problem is....nathan knew there was something wrong wiht it, but bought it anyways. i dont see the problem, other than nathan needs knew ----....but i dont think steve should pay for it

i don't think it is a bad thing to post "clear, non blurry pics" but damn. it's like almost every pic was too blurry to tell anything except those pistons are fucked.
and i think it's cool that steve is componsating him for his troubles even though he really had no obligation to do so.

morale of the story: honest people resolve their problems the right way so that everybody feels better about the deal.

Shut the ---- up. You guys asked for clear pictures. You got clear pictures? Can you see the clear pictures cocksmack? Yeah they are here on page 3. Shut the ---- up about the earlier pictures. Yeah my camera sucks. I wanted to show something. Last night and that is when all of the blurry pictures were posted.

get new rings bearings give it a light hone and put it together.
the oilpump should be fine..it's new.

you bought it as is and you paid exactly what stealth asked for it, not everyones' a small town boy like you ssl2k. if someone tells you he thinks the piston rings are cracked but he never openned the motor to see, expect the motor to have fucked up pistons. maybe you can stil use the rods. i wouldn't get mad at stealth, just wise up ssl2k
or the wolrd will eat you alive. you should've told him $650. after the cracked rings where mentioned. ---- you could buy complete d16s' here in miami for $500. that have been pampered there whole lives by an old lady.
