we'll know in an hour.

But it's leaking at the TB gasket.

it's the right size gasket, but it dosent seal the whole base of the TB to the intakemanifold.

it leaks from the the 2 points circled. ( with the gasket one way it leaks on the bottom, and with it flipped it leaks at the other end , never really covering everything.)

with the gasket on, the circled area is the port for the stock mapsensor that was blocked up , since i'm running a 3 bar map.

I called everywhere looking for the right gasket, and no1 had it. And if they did they would not part it with the TB.

So i'll be heading to the AutoParts Store tomorrow to get a sheet of gasket paper and get the razor out and cut one to fit.

thanks.

I don't really know how much i have exactly spent over the years. But on this Build ( motor, turbo kit,EMS,tune adn misc ----) i spent about $7000
But some of the cost on the new build came from the sale of items from the Old Build.

But i still have to geta few safty items like cage, chute, window net, skatter shield and oilpan/motor tray...and that in itself will cost about another $1500-$2000 (materials and labor).

I'll try to save cost on the cage by doing it in house. I'll order the pipeing, chute/chute bracket and cable w/ lever and window net and hardware which will cost about $800..

And i'll measure, bend and cut the pipeing to speck and have Tom weld the cage and give him a couple hundred bucks for the labor and gas.

So about $10-12k and i should be finished and happy on This Build.

I went to UNOH and got a associates in High Performance Technology, then went to MMI and got a job offer to teach, but now I'm just a damn wrench at a little shop in GA, nothing like I wanted to be, I'd have gone for Mechanical Engineering if I could do it over again. I know alot of ---- and have worked on some fast *** rides (worked on snowmobiles at Hot To Go Racing in NY, APBA Race Boats at Velocity Power Boats and Hall's Propeller Service, and various cars, About had a job with G-Force Race Cars in NY building ProMods, but my wife got in a car wrech here in GA and I had to come down here for her.

So here I sit with a $15k student loan, making $20 an hour flat rate (45+ a week average, but down about 8 hours a week from average from the economy) Got smarts, not alot of cash and plenty of hindsight. (wife can't work due to back injury sustained in car wreck, She's trying to get back into modeling, but hasn't got any money jobs yet)
