Leed, you are one hardcore guy. You fought the border for ever, you helped save the "fail boat", and then you stayed till 3am, and if that wasn't enough you still posted when you got home.

Urban will have some video and some story's to tell when he wakes up. Passenger and myself are at the shop, have pulled the intercooler and mani, wastegate dumps, and downpipe, and are about to take them to the ceramic coater in a few minutes. Then it is off to mopac to unghetto a few rigged setups from last night (we had the breather vents on the mani taped on with electrical tape). When we are at mopac we will get a new coil, and then we will put it back together this evening, and try and trouble shoot out the dead cylinder. As well as try to get the other transmission built.

The biggest "fail boat" was having a waterline from the thermostat housing plumed to the top breather tube for the stock breather, and filling the crankcase with ~12L of water... I know Leed has a good shot of urban standing beside the waterfall coming from the drain plug when we pulled it.

So tuning has been pushed back to Friday, and with any luck we will be right ready to get this show on the road.

-On a side note, when I pulled the wide band this morning, it was quite warm to the touch? Does this mean the heater was on all night? Will this have damaged the wideband?

Good news on the 02 sensor.

Well we won't be doing anymore trouble shooting today, the ceramic coater says the ---- will be done for first thing tomorrow. I guess we will just round up parts, hopefully get this other tranny together, and maybe see if one of the ------s with a camera will post up some pics.

sure as ---- looks like it... how do you run a coolant line to the breather? and have a dead cylinder and not know which one it is

The turbine was drilled and tapped for two pressure gauges and two pyrometers, one for each volute. Short of having 2 per primary (one at head and one at collector each) this is the next best thing. The megaphone dumps actually decrease the noise and increase boost control.

I was gone when they plumbed the coolant line into the block, I don't know how you manage that either but they said it was in some schematic... I am doing fab , internal tranny and engine work only, the rest is being assembled by other people not apart or associated with my shop.
As for the dead cylinder, they were in the middle of diagnosing it when they lost all spark. I had to lock up the shop and kick everyone out at 3 am, and thats were they were at the time.
