Turbo Civic carburetor

Re:Turbo Civic carburetor
hi
the sealed box idea sounds like it would work good but would be a bitch to make. I have a series 2 escort with a carb/turbo set up. you need a card that is sealed from the factory (weber or delortto). and have some way of sealing it to the top of the carb.the one I hvae on my car is a weber down drat.and for your float you should leave is stock other wise it will cut-out. but you should get a fuel regulator with a line from the turbo to the top of the diafram this way your fuel pressure rises with your boost. you also don't have to re-jet your carb I have run up to 24 psi on stock jets. good luck

Re:Turbo Civic carburetor
Hi All
Thanks for the advise, I think I am going to try it with the stock carb sealed and seal the top. Get a new regulator for boost.
I have had a look at a box to house the carb, they seem such a pain to make.
Any other advise info will be a help
Thanks
