Turbo Civic carburetor
I don't think a high CFM carb would be too difficult - there are many of them made. The only real issue would be hooking it up to the intake - little custom work required there. Too bad I just sold all the EFI stuff off my car. Sold the entire wiring harness and ECU with resistor box for $125. Shipped that would probably have been under100 quid.

Hi All
It can be done without the box, I have studied the carb and it appears to be sealed quite well (all moderen carbs have to be sealed due to controls that were introduced). There a few holes that go to the atmosphere that a may need to block. I intend to block all vacum lines.
Does anyone know what I should do with the float level, should I raise or drop it or leave it.
I am nearly there with this project, I just need to sort the carb and intake pipe for i/c.

It is easier to put the carb in a box than it is to set it up for directly blowing through. The carb isnt meant to handle pressure through the venturis and the top . What will happen is when you hit boost the pressure will be in places where there needs to be vacume. If you pressurise the whole carburator in side a box, all the systems in the carb will still function the way they are intended. Look at the carburated vortec kits for Fords and Chevys.

No interest in an antiquated system. Sorry.
It will prove helpful to you though car_01.
you need to figure out how to control the carb while its in the box. Set up a cable that is sealed where it enters the box also seal the fuel line that enters the box.
Make the box out of something like aluminum.
Its a bunch of work but it can be done. See if you can get a look at schematics for the vortech kits I told you about.
I found them before on line in pdf format. They can give you some idea of how to do it.
