I would like to know this. It matters.
On Honduh, rule of thumb is stock fuel pressure (41 psi IM to ATM differential) and stock fuel rail at the 300-350 whp level, there is a 3-4 psi difference from one end of the fuel rail to the other. It's not just pressure, but flow across the individual injectors. I test small 5 ms pulses with a Matco fuel injector tester, I'm sure you've seen the exact unit I have in person.

Good info JD. Yes, we have the matco tester here.
I heard a rumor somewhere the RC tests all their injectors at 16ms. Is this true?

I dunno, but "16 ms" doesn't mean much. 16 ms periods, but at what duty? 16ms open (three ways to define what the 16ms measures, only one is technically correct but I doubt RC is using it) at what duty? Etc, etc.

I suppose we could call RC and ask.

Called the Happy little phone number on their customer service page, got some dude that sounded like he was 19. Asked him specifically about RC low imp. 550cc injectors, he said they tested at 3bar pressure and 6ms. He really couldnt tell me more than that. Sounded like he might have had it written down or something. He also mumbled something bout laser strobe test blah blah machine they had, whatever. He asked what they were going in, I said 89 dodge colt, he laughed, and hung up on me.

Results are inconclusive at this time. Not looking too good though.
This is gonna bug the ---- out of me until I find out. Damn it.

***** licker hung up over Mikey's Colt? It's the only DSM I've seen with the potential of a white HF. No matter, I like Precisions better anyway.
