what I always do is getone of those yellow filing folder things...you know it folds in half and you put papers/files in it...trace out the compresor housing..or old gasket, etc...cut it out and use that..Ive been doing this for over 5 years and not one issue

just a question cause i guess i'm gonna have to clock my turbo so it'll fit the way i want it to, but the thing is, i don't want to break anything taking it apart like that, as it is a good no play, turbo. i don't want to end up spending money to repair what was a good condition turbo,. if you understand.
just want to know if it really is just that simple as unbolt, spin, rebolt...
nothing more?
I'm afraid of trying any of this on my turbo, cause i can't really afford to replace/repair it at the moment.

tried clocking my turbo today and all the bolts are way seized after pb blaster and mapp gas torch i give up and im gonna cut the bolts off and get a new turine housing and while im at it switch to a standard t3 flange. still not sure on my wastegate ill keep it if i can figure out how to use the 2 port can if not ill get an external need to figure out before i build a manifold though
