Be glad you don't have one of the ball bearing Nissan turbos.

They have a longer wastegate arm and bolt to the SIDE of the compressor housing instead of using two of the six compressor to backing plate bolts.I had to make my own bracket just to clock the turbo. Total BS.....

Don't laugh at the DP flange ... I had to make that sad little set-up and the internal wastegate thing just to get the car to the shop with the TIG where the turbo header and real DP got built.

i NEVER noticed the bolts being a bitch to get out ..... they all just came out nicely .....

however I was rebuilding the turbo ... so I had to hammer away at the exhaust side to get it to come apart.......I rebuilt the turbo in about 1.5 hours...... fun stuff...... just don't break anything ...... that gets expensive !!

to rotate the cold side, you just loosen the 4 bolts (2 more bolts that arn't shown so a total of 6) in this pic on the cold side.

what is his turbo off of? and whats with that bolt in where the coolant goes?

this might be a bumb *** question but how can you tell the oil feed from the oil return line?

the feed is smaller hole, the return is the bigger... on t3s that is, im not sure about all turbos

in the pic it looks like u have a ebay boost controler those it work good im wanna buy one .. i also clocked my ct26 ill post pics soon

heating it up worked out for me, a few hits with Mr Hammer and it got loose
