I'm sure he wouldnt mind getting a sticky and credit if you ask him.

Check it out...he put a lot of work into this.

I think a very basic guide to understanding compressor maps is in order as well...I struggle to understand, but if you want, I'll do some research and a write-up if you think it might be a necessity.
I think thaat a huge FAQ section would be very helpful. There are many new people, and lot of them dont fully understand fuel management, and turbo sizing, and such...
(I dont even understand it 100%) ---I think a huge FAQ would be awsome.

Heres an idea just make a how to sticky forum. Everyone could just make a topic. EG...
Welding
manifolds
engine swaps
insert other ---- here

I think that wouldbe cool. All you have to do is just scroll down the page and find what you are looking for.

That's actually the idea I was having, just to link a bunch of posts from HMT into kinda a informative directional thread.. I just need to know how to outline these things right. I can't touch the existing stickies, but at the same time I don't want to overload this forum with new stickies.. I will have to be tactful in placing these things right.

I was thinking maybe a Beginners Start Here thread, which will mostly be directions for the newbies, the ---- that I've wrote tens of times over.. instead I'll get it all over at once, then have everyone else input.

Next maybe an advanced users/fabrication thread? I know that all fabrication questions get thrown into this forum, would be nice to have some sort of organization about them. The rest of the topics that have either already been covered or whatnot (like how to compression check thread a month ago) will be listed.

Tell me what you guys think, whatever I do can always be undone, so no worries.

Yeah yeah, I know. Cut me some slack.. this is a long process. First step was getting approval, next I had to make sure not to **** anyone off setting this ---- up. Finally I'm going to have to write like 2 ------- pages of spell check perfect ----. On top of that I'm going to have to do a bunch of research to resurrect some old threads to ad to the list. It will get done when it gets done. Who knows, I may do it tonight.. the good thing is I'm not having to answer so many newbie questions.. otherwise that would have motivated me a bit.

The sad part is that newbies don't read threads like the FAQ and they continue to ask the repeat questions. We also need a better search feature becuase the one now is close to useless
