New threads soon to come

Since I am now in office, I plan to make some very slight changes to this topic area. First will be a newbie thread. I'm going to cut/paste off of all the old posts I've done for people to congromulate some sort of ultimate newbie info station. As most know I'm leaving for NYC in a few hours so this will have to wait a week. Any suggestions will be appreciated, I will spend some time to make sure everything is in check for the people.

Second, I would like to try and get some more knowledge bases going for experienced users. This will take some time, but I'm sure everyone will pull thru. Upgrades is what we is all about, from water injection to air/water intercoolers. I would like to start building ---- and creating writeups. I hope my fabrication skills can help others to push the envelope.

Yeah I will delete this post when I have generated the final one.. but sticky for now.

Only real suggestions please, no bullshit.. we are trying to recruit potential forum donaters.. I mean helpers. Please keep the name calling to general forum, I will delete useless ---- from childish members.

quadnie, the one thing this forum needs is a updated FAQ, or a "how to turbo" write up, with pictures and everything, explaining the basics and the technical, it should provide links to resources, but it should also cover everything in itself, have a section for every part of a turbo set up ghetto or pro, covering every aspect of that, and also a index and a glossory, explaining everything in simple to understand english. that would be wicked.

Okay, I have my work cut out for me then. I will be needing sample picture from you people since my project cars aren't with me currently, and I doubt anyone wants to see anything more of my beefy sbc.

I have no problem turning this mother fucker into an epic FAQ, as long as I can get some backup when I need it. Gimme a week or two, you'll see what I can do for you.

yeah, i'm sure people will help, jeff has a pretty decent FAQ but i bet it could be expanded easily to help solve many headaches for everyone, you need to incoporate plaenty of advice in the faq, pros and cons of using this versus that, I'll be glad to help you, and i'm sure most other memeber will too. just work hard bitch.

I have no plans to kill the FAQ, I like it just the way it is. What I want to do is start something new for the newbies, and maybe some other threads for common questions, like "what welder should I buy"
