The Dx trans has the same ratios as the si. So you wont fall out of boost any worse than w/ an si. Only the final will lengthen your speed in each gear, but same rpm drop when shifting.

how well dose that radiator fit? did you have to drop it down past the traction bar? overall it looks real good!!!!

---- i dont even know. i would have to drive this car for a couple thousand miles before even thinking about selling something like that without it breaking. i made it with a sawzall, drill press and a welder, so it really wasnt that difficult. the hardest part was getting the bitch in and out of the car to test fit it, and i really dont have any time to do anything like that while going to school full time and work full time, but ill think about it.


according to MFactory's gear calculator the 2nd and 3rd gear are different between the DX/LX and the EX/SI trannys too. i was thinking about just dropping a EX/SI final drive in there but it wont make that much of a difference to justify the hassle. heres their calculator

i think its touching the hood still the way it sits now above the traction bar, so i may need to do some cutting to the core support to drop it down lower and figure out how to mount it. thanks man

hey do you have any mounts on you radiator or is it just pushed in the 2 holes on the traction bar.. i now see how i need to mount my intercooler on my ef to use my front bumper.

my traction bar doesn't have any mounting tabs on it. i still need to make some sort of rubber mounts to support it up off the traction bar.
