i still don't like the idea of a block guard. i just don't think they are needed in applications like yours

well i plan on making more than 300hp this next time around so i think it might be a good idea then. if i do go with another i will probably use a Golden Eagle one instead of that piece of ---- KMS one with 1/8 inch coolant holes, and weld the ****** in a little more solid.

that looks like running lean under high load melting that piston detonation would of shattered ring lands ect..

just picked up a new block today at the junkyard for $50, im between jobs right now and going to school full time so i dont have a lot of money to throw at it. waiting on my tax returns to get everything i need and get it back together before it warms up.

wow that looks like my pistons on my first zc build when i tried to tune it....i pay for dyno time now..............i need 1000cc injectors let me know if you have them
