Re:Free ECU Modification Programs!
PM6 is the ECU from a 90-91 rex/hatch Si..

Re:Free ECU Modification Programs!
On the Civic side, the PM6 is 88-91, but the phsyical motherboard was changed in 1990.
You need a 90 or 91 PM6 to chip with EcuControl and Ghettodyne. This is the PM6 ECU you need, with this chip. If your PM6 doesn't look like this, don't bother chipping it. TOOOO much time and money for what it's worth. Just find thing one. Remember.. 1990, 1991 PM6. http://www.ecucontrol.com/images/topecu.gif |
Re:Free ECU Modification Programs!
that's look like pretty cool :)
when this will be availlable??? How we gonna work with it??? Does we need to set the fuel mixture or the ECU will control it??? Thanks |
Re:Free ECU Modification Programs!
so just to clairfy...
what are the ECUs that work with Ghettodyne? will my d15b7 ecu work for it... mpfi, 16 valves 1.5l |
Re:Free ECU Modification Programs!
so to use in an obd1 car I would need an obd1-obd0 converter and on external rpm switch for vtec activation?..
might be more expense than it is worth in that case... |
Re:Free ECU Modification Programs!
Ghettodyne ECUs as of version 1.03: 90 - 91 PM6
EcuControl ROMs (which match to corrosponding ECUs) available here: http://www.ecucontrol.com/rom_page.htm |
Re:Free ECU Modification Programs!
so can someone explain why the ---- they don't support 92-95 non vtec engines?
cause i don't see the difference between the two... i don't even know what ecu my engine has...d15b7... |
Re:Free ECU Modification Programs!
You have a P06..
Why? They explain that on thier site. No need to get mouthy about it. It takes time to develope software. The ECUs run different programs, and the tuning programs haev to adapt to each ECU ROM to be able to properly read it. They will support more ECUs as the software gets developed. |
