Free ECU Modification Programs!
 

OK, I've learned a lot from this board about turbo and fuel management, and in creating my own kit (which should be running a month or so) I want to have a chance to know about what's out there, and pick what I want..

Well, seems everyone has these little programs, GhettoDyne, and EcuControl that are out there that I didn't know about!!!

So far, we have..

Has anyone actually created one of those MegaSquirt boxes? Seems if someone is *that* good with eletronics, car modification isn't the correct field for them. :o

How well does it work?

Oh, I've already ordered my EcuControl RS232 adapter.. I'm going to try that out on a spare PM6 I have laying about. Seems like it'd be pretty nice along-side GhettoDyne.

..except that a few of the measurements are not in US standard. :P

The author of GhettoDyne signed up an account here and is posting about GhettoDyne and EcuControl working together in up and coming versions!

Keep on the look out! I'm getting my things ordered and setup for testing as we speak..

WOW... never heard of Ghettodyne or anything else... Would anyhting work on a P06 obd1 ECU ?

I haven't found anything for P06.. I've actualyl got a P06 that I bought to "Hondata", but I'm going to fry my PM6 first. ;D

The Ghettodyne and EcuControl revolution is upon this board!! Muahahaha..

No one that I know around Kansas City even has this setup, I'm VERY interested in being the first.

Not to mention showing up all the Hondata kids. No one around here supports Zdhyne. And just because all the rich kids with thier pokie GSR swapped EKs posting 16 second times think that Hondata is better, I'm more than ready to "hack the Gibson" with GhettoDyne, and EcuControl!

no ghettodyne doesnt either i think xtensive is trying to figure out the hex values or something for positive boost. i have been learning some of the stuff and im still in a cloud of smoke..
