No ----. 95% of this is covered in a BASIC, UNIVERSAL TURBO FAQ. The other 4.9% is a basic Honda-only TURBO FAQ, the last .1% is setup-specific.

The truth is you should stop worrying about crap like small exhaust leaks or engine bay temps, and focus on the most importing aspects such as how the motor gets fuel, and how the turbo system actually works.


Research "TURBO CARNAGE" for a better idea why you should learn all this before you even BUY the parts. :1

 

a6 or b7 head yes there both the same. if you use a a6 head you will need either and adjustable cam gear or a y7 cam gear. the b7/a6/z6/b8 will all be off by half a tooth. head and ecu will net u 30hp for under 100 bucks at a local junkyard. your bottom end can take about 200whp on a really good tune so if ur running somthing shaddy like fmu i wouldnt push much past 160whp or go any higher than 180whp on a basemap.
