and we just bought this kit for 200$ ,complete kit so ---- if i can make the 70 HP cx a TAD FASTER for 200$ and no more then why not.

but yeah so u think i will make it any faster without fuel managment ? how many APPROX ponies should i get , the turbo is like new o shaft play, and i have mounted a DSM intercooer i me fender, and have a greedy type-rs BOV { CAME WITH} and hav oil coming from blcok with no restricter and out to oil pan with big line.

what can i get 20 30 40 50 60 horsepower on a NON FUEL MANAGED USED D15B8 ? i know u cant be accurate but estimate ?

honestly your going to blow your engine probably imediately if you dont have any management at 8psi at least throw in a pump and a 10:1 fmu it would take like 30 mins to install both of them and it will actually run for a little while. get a used vortech fmu even 12:1 would work. get a walbro 255lph pump. if i still had my fmu id give it to you but i dont have a pump or fmu. and if you get a ecu and injectors it takes the same amount of time to install and it would run a hell of alot better and last 4X longer on just a basemap. i cant explain how important it is for fuel management on a turbo engine.
If you run a basemap and injectors w/ 8psi you could get anywhere between 45-80hp increase depending on the map and setup probably 50hp but w/o management you get a broken engine

QUESTION:


myBOV is it ok if i hook it up to the PC VALVE POR on the INTAKE MNI ?


and can i hook up the boost aguge to the fuel preasure line and T it off ?


and if i n hook the fuel preasue regulator will i get more fuel ? is it better then nothing ?

an i dont cae if it blows as its not mine eactely it my buddiesbut i will tell himabout this, but if he decides to buy it or not i dont know LOL,



but yeah ill send out friday ups, and let m eknow on the above, and last what octane should i run ? 93 like on ll of them or can i do e-85 ?

ok get some management unhooking your regulator is not a good idea and hook both your bov and boost guage to t's on the fpr vacuum line

OK BRO, i di wa u sai,i canked it to 14 psi ON ACCIDENT, and blew my intercooler piping as didnt have it tight on there, ONLY TOOK IT TO 3.5 RPM and it made FULL BOSST !! BOOST=DRUG, LOL anywase thankyou i sent out your T-bod cost me like 4$ so no biggy, and now
DONT worry iturned it down to 4 ,

i have compressor surge, should i make the turbo SOFT ?

also, my trbo on the weld there is a VERY SMALL TIRNY exhaust leak, can i use jb weld or should i use exhaust fix weld stuff ??


and last, it didnt bog down, idealedpefect everything runs perfect i might not need fuel managment, just put in fuel pump bigger,


also HOW long should i let the turbo spool down ? i dont have a timer yet so, and also does HEAT wrap help ?



ICANT find a FILTER that fits my turbo which is liek littel over 1 inch LOL, ill pot pictures and video ok ? and u will get yor T-body wednesday the guy said, thanks

ok for the compressor surge i would turn the bov softer so it blows off instead of coming back through the compressor
as for boost i would run as low as possible
as for tuning i still 100% recommend it
just take some j-b weld to the small exhaust leak ive seen it used before and it worked
heat wrap will keep then engine bay temps down which is a positive
just put some mesh or panty hose with a hose clamp over the intake side of the turbo for a filter. its not the best but is better then nothing.

i ran the ---- out of it , everything works GREAT,


BUT i am getting BACKFIREING when downshift, and i turned the BOV all the way to SOFT, and still have compressor surge, MABEY thats how the BOV sounds ?

ill post a video mabey, but yeah the engine had 65HP nowfeels like my H22 swaped hatch , LOL ok man thanks


ALSO i used E-85 , just to try it out and it akes my car shut of on a redlight, and so with 90 it run great, so should i run which grade as u think ?


and if i have WHITE SMOKE coming from exhaust on 6-9k revving then whats that mean ? i have NO BLACK smoke at all, thanks
