Default Making a two stage boost controller? input appreciated?

I'm thinking about making my own boost controller switching device of sorts. Here is what I'm thinking.

Use wastegate spring for daily driving/first gear maybe. And be able to switch to a higher boost setting via an MBC by flipping a switch in the car.

I was thinking that if you T-ed you vac source and split it into two solonoids and one solonoid would lead directly to a t for also into that t would be the other solonoid output after it went through the MBC. Then that T would go to the wastegate.

This sounds like it would work to me. The only thing I can thinkg that might be a problem is transition if switching after first gear. I'm not sure if there would be any problems. I have no boost to test this on yet so I'm hoping you guys can give me some insight.

I think I read about doing that on Honda-Tech once. Maybe you should try doing a search there.
It sounds like it would work, but sometimes theories don't work as well as they sound.
