well i totaled everything i bought minus the ic piping and downpipe and so far it comes out to something like 700...of course i didnt have to get a nice bov...coulda gotten a 1g...and if i had stick id use uberdata..so i wouldnt have bought all that stuff....so yeh i understand its very possible to do this setup under 500...do tell...

ill end up spending like 1400...which still isnt bad

well like i said i met up with the guy, and yeh i expect to pay around 700... thats almost as much as i paid for all my parts.... :P

damn I'm good!

I didn't even need to abuse my powers as a mod to edit your post to reflect projected opinion.

Now check this out.. spend $700 on all the tools you will need and do it yourself! $400 for the complete MIG welder setup and $300 in hand tools.

You can't take your car to someone else to change the oil for the rest of your life man. Do it the way that is calling you...


Carlos, if you need any special tools then you're going to have to let me know now so I can pack them up and be ready and ----. I was probably going to bring my timing light (with advance dial on the back) and my $250 ceramic chef's knife... and of course the welding helmet/gloves.

i honestly dont know what extra tools we would need... u wouldnt happen to have an engine hoist laying around would ya :P


bleh.. i should have a ------- car by friday...then ill just start saving till your *** comes.. u plan on staying for 1-2months so that gives me a bit more time to save..
