Re:Coolers for Turbo Setup

Oh yeah, I forgot about the front mount, yeah most times I've read you're all good without it. So how well does that 14b spool up on the f22a1? When do you reach full boost (what rpm). I really want to get an accord, I like bigger cars and the accord just seems so easy to boost. I've done assloads of work on f22a1s before so I'm very familiar with them.. I think I'll find me a 5spd 2door, that would be tits. Nice to hear that the a/c is retainable.

Re:Coolers for Turbo Setup

Yeah I would love to pick up a thousand dollar 4g.. 2 or 4 door but at least has to have a 5spd. The f22 motors are some of the most reliable ones honda has ever released, ya normally see them lasting to 250k miles without problems. Not to mention they are sooo ------- cheap, like a hundred bucks buys you another one. Then using DSM parts is nice, makes for a very cheap and easy swap. How many psi you running?

Re:Coolers for Turbo Setup

Damn I wasn't finished with my post and hit post. Thats an older picture of the setup. Now it has an intercooler installed (Saab) and has some nicer piping. Any ???s let me know. I've done everything there is to do with this setup. Tried all 3 DSM turbos (t25, td04, 14b) and have done the install and removal about a million times. Yes the front motor mount has to go and you have to grind a small amount of the mount spot away. I have pics of everything if you want to see.
