qsiguy! since i dont have enough posts to pm you, could you pm me, as to how much oil pressure you set up that turbo to recieve? also those shurflo pumps, i was looking at them you can did you set your up to actiavte at Xpsi amount?

Doing some routine maintenance on the car this weekend and happened to check the methanol injection nozzle and it was completely plugged up! How often do you guys that use it check the nozzle? It's been so hot lately, sometimes up to 110*F, and would ping if I got into boost over about 4 psi. My summer ECU tune has the timing pulled way back but it would still ping, very frustrating. It didn't used to do that since I added the FMIC and the methanol but I thought it was just too hot. Anyway, pulled it all apart and got it cleaned out and working again and huge difference, might even be able to put some timing back in.
Long story short, if you have methanol injection check/clean your injector(s) regularly... |
