Re: 1994 Infiniti Q45 rear mount turbo project
what size is your charge piping? It looks huge for a rear mounted turbo!

2.5" on the compressor plumbing until just before the MAF, then it goes to 3.5" which is the size of the MAF.

Ya, I saw that. That is one of my favorite vid's so far. I need to get busy and make some more videos. The cold weather is making for some fun rides... ;D

Had some fun this afternoon with the car. Just got it back on the road after a while in the garage. Finally made a little ripper vid. Cheated a bit and started in some gravel because I didn't want to do a high RPM tranny drop. At least not until I get around to swapping in a 5 speed... Anyway, first time I'd ever done a full on burnout. Car was full of smoke, don't know how you guys can stand it, made me sick!

looks mental! :D
did you up the boost after installing the i/c? definitely a cool VIP car man! I was gonna say at first you should have replaced the cats with these remote mounted there instead, but this is soooo much cooler! |
I'm running it at about 8 psi. I've tried 9-10 but I'm reaching the max of the MAF and OEM injectors. I need to address them before I can do much more.
