the shifter is in the exact same location as the original crx shifter... just raised up higher, which, imo is more ergonomic like the sir hatchbacks with the shifter in the dash.

it seems there is quite a bit, but not enough to do a v-mount ic/rad setup that i was hoping for. i may do a forward facing turbo setup though, i'm undecided. there is quite a bit of hood clearance as well.

So, before the car gets final assembled, can you make a jig for that x-member?

eeek. is that a cross-member. cant see underneath. stress test it. see what breaks first.

i guess it has to look like that when you convert FF to FR

mock up is lookin good

i have no doubt this will turn out very professional.

now you have room to mount (4) 14b's up in front of the motor, or one nice 8" thick IC core

that x-member is TEH SEX and i hate that term. but i cant think of anything else.

+1 on the tie rods though, they need to be on the bottom
