okay, update on the project... i found a little solder joint that looked like it was real close to pins 13 and 14 on the lil 74 IC, took the end of the sharp pointer on the multimeter and got as much extra solder off as i could... now it's running a lil bit better, only now i still get a solid check light, but it doesn't bog down any more when i rev it. it runs WAY too rich though, it shows the last green LED on my A/F meter (way rich), and it's missing when i rev it. ideas?

Your plugs are probably fouled by now...you replace them yet?

I bet it's the bin you burned. Take a stock p28 bin and unclick vtec and the sensors you dont have. Change vtec to like 8000 and then set your rev limit to normal, like 6600. I've always ran a stock p28 map when I was NA. I always though my ecu was messed up too. But even with my first soldering job ever on an ecu and the right burn the car ran fine. Doubt his plugs are fouled. I've ran some pretty ugly bins on my car. Ran 390cc injectors on my car with no with no chip to scale them down for a little bit

plugs are fine, i'm not driving it around like this :P i wired a switch to the jumper so i drive it around on the stock map. i'm gonna try burning a new bin today, does the d15b7 have a PA sensor and ELD? i unchecked them for that bin, just seeing if that would make any difference. runs rich, but isn't bogging down anymore. still misses. i'm thinking maybe there is still a tiny connection where the two pins were originally connected, there's kind of a lil scratch on the pcb, is there any way to keep it from jumping the 2 pins together on a scratched pcb?
