Connect your wideband 0-5v output to your O2 sensor input wire.

Disable O2 sensor in the ROM Properties... wa-la.

Re: TurboEDIT Support (OBD0) - Current Verison: 2.5.2

Is O2 sensor with a turbo better not better. If you already have this shun me but Couldn't you make some code that would have the O2 sensor read 12:1 AF on boost and 14:1 on vacuum. Think that would improve performance and gas milage for those who care.

Re: TurboEDIT Support (OBD0) - Current Verison: 2.5.2

turboedit.org down for a while or just for now?

I need the latest version of TE

I got a partial tune with a 3bar from JKmotorsports but we couldnt finish, so Im gonna get the bin from him and try and figure this tuning out for myself

never used it before, we got the boost map pretty much dead perfect but I have to tune idle and partial throttle

Can snyone give me some pointers, I remember it being very lean @ 2500rpm an -10 vacuum

Thanks guys

I have been getting a lot of TE questions lately...seems to be some sort of revival. I dont think TurboEdit.org has been touched in ages.

Try this ZIP file. It includes an old installer version and the EXE of the newest version of TurboEdit along with 2 files people seem to be missing even after the install. They should go in your System32 folder of the computer...

Re: TurboEDIT Support (OBD0) - Current Verison: 2.5.2

But does it have 3bar support? I think your code is NG55 Kevin and you need Ng60. I use NG55 because it's the only 3bar BIN you can find on PGMFI.org

Re: TurboEDIT Support (OBD0) - Current Verison: 2.6.x

I went back to a 3bar unit

Chris I dunno if the sensor you sent me is a 2.5bar or not but its ------- TINY, like 1cm X 1cm and the vac niple is so small it aint funny

But I couldnt get it to work either so I went back to a 3 bar that I know Josh tuned WOT for me but the idle sucks

Josh, I need your help on that one

If you have the tiny unit...its the 2.5 Bar

Re: TurboEDIT Support (OBD0) - Current Verison: 2.6.x

Those SOP-8 2.5 bar are much easier to fit inside the stock MAP enclosure than the normal package ones. :6

I thought Mike Robichaud was the original, and Parker rolled with his work? Not that he didn't legitimately take it a thousand leagues beyond what it was when the torch was passed to him. :)

Ignore the OMG HAX!!!1 front page as the rest of the site is still intact, and take a stroll down memory lane, guys:

I'm not 100% but I dont think William rolled with anyone elses work...he was a loner unfortunately and was quite particular.

Re: TurboEDIT Support (OBD0) - Current Verison: 2.6.x

Ghettodyne was more or less just datatable hacks of a stock ROM.

Mike and Jason/William talked via AIM for about a year before TE manifested, and for a while after until all the Z32 stuff subsumed Mike. It was more a communal effort in those days, I wasn't trying to take a jab at anyone. :)

William told me he wrote turbo edit so that he could tune his own ---- and felt like sharing, then he got fed up with getting hundreds of emails from people asking stupid questions and quit posting updates for it, now he just had a kid and just doesn't have time for anything now, thats why its now opensource.

Try to stay out of boost and try to get it tuned asap. You could probably just have xenocron burn you a base map and it will be somewhat close to what you are running. Just give him all the details of your build.

hasnt been much development since its been opensource (that has been shared anyways)...

i have been working on some ecucontrol plugin stuff, but havent posted any TE related updates...unfortunately i dont have the knowledge to do anything but "cosmetic" on TE at this point (which i will post up soon). i will share what i work on, even if there isnt much interest....
