idle problems
jus installed my turbo kit
so far i havent pressed it hard seeing as how i only have an fmu an no fuel pump as my high flow pump has stopped working already it was a used one
but ne how my car is idling super rich
and very low rpm and it hesitates alot when cold
i have no idea why its like this
i have no CELS
i am thinking i might have a defective fmu but i have no fuel pressure gauge to tell
or is there a way to adjust the throttle as when i jus installed it the revs were up to 2k and i saw my mechanic adjust sumthing below the throttle body where the gas pedal cable is attatched to it is

Re:idle problems
my guess is that the FMU combined with a rich warm up condition (during start up) is flooding the engine and making it hesitate and bog....
Your "mechanic" adjusted the idle control screw, located on the bottom of the throttle body. This isnt going to solve a whole lot, except help keep from killing the engine completly while idling at a stop light.
If your Mecanic was good (like I am ) he would have pulled a spark plug and checked for discoloration...
You need to upgrade your ignition system to fire off the rich mixture. Try upgrading your plugs with a wider gap...then add an external coil.
