Default Idle Problems

Yeah I just hooked my dpfi back up on my dx and when I crank the car the rpms go straight to 4000 rpm and stays there. All my vaccum lines are hooked up and all connectors are in place.Does anybody know what the problem may be please help.

What ecu are you using? Maybe it's a possible ecu problem, because I know I have a spare ecu that idles high and does some wierd stuff. I didn't program or chip it.... heh I need to fix that one.

i've got a smiliar problem. my idle sticks at like 2,000 rpms. the throttle cable isn't too tight but the thing the cable wraps around (excuse my stupidity) on the throttle body is sticking. i've tried squirting some lube in there but no dice. guess im gonna end up taking it apart.

...also make sure the little washer between the firewall and the cable is not snaging the cable, and stretching it open...
