Default data isnt right

Decided to try datalogging on the new laptop. Installed all drivers and softwares. Opened up freelog and numbers just jumped around like crazy. Tried a different cable and same thing. First cable used was a hondalog. Second was a Nokia. J12 is cut from the ecu. any ideas? Worked on old laptop but old laptop took a dump.

What did you set the baud rate at? 38400? Do you have the right com port selected?

Yep, I have the correct port. Had baud rate at 38400 but switched it to 115200. Just cant figure it out. Could it be that vista installed the datalogging cable by itself?
