data isnt right
Decided to try datalogging on the new laptop. Installed all drivers and softwares. Opened up freelog and numbers just jumped around like crazy. Tried a different cable and same thing. First cable used was a hondalog. Second was a Nokia. J12 is cut from the ecu. any ideas? Worked on old laptop but old laptop took a dump.

Re: data isnt right
What did you set the baud rate at? 38400? Do you have the right com port selected?

Re: data isnt right
Yep, I have the correct port. Had baud rate at 38400 but switched it to 115200. Just cant figure it out. Could it be that vista installed the datalogging cable by itself?

Re: data isnt right
are you using crome 4.0 four something whatever the newest version is....If so freelog is working fine john Cui rewrote his datalogging script and all the memory locations are differant now..Go to the freelog section of pgmfi and in one of the threads John posted a list of all the new locations fromthat ou can figure out how to fix it.
if your using crome 1.2.5 it should work fine. |
Re: data isnt right
all settings are correct. Did a sanity check and it passed. Loopback test failed.
