Default How to tell if oil return isnt right.

Well I didnt plan on my turbo sitting as low as it did. And made the mistake of doing the pan before the turbo was installed. So I'm trying to decide if the pan is insufficent. Is there really anyway I can tell? I'm not leaking, or burning oil. The return is almost like an "L" shape but more of a smooth bend and not as kinked. Just want to get peoples comments. I'll try and get a pic.

The best thing is to have a short drop then go towards the pan.. As long as the return is not kinked or uphill it should be fine. What size did you use for the drain.. I wouldn't run anything smaller than 1/2" or -10AN.. Are you still smoking? It might just take a while to burn it out of your exhaust. Mine lays pretty much flat.. I ran a straight fitting of the turbo and I have a 45* at the pan.. (I think)

ya just make sure the fittin on the oil pan is over all lower then the oil outlet on the turbo and run a fat tube. like he said ATLEAST 1/2" ID!

Also.. if you still burn oil try putting a needle valve on the oil feed line right before the turbo to lower oil pressure going in.
