Whats Better for my 92 teg? (B18A1, Ls/Vtec, or B16A1)
Wassup, I'm a newb and just getting into the import scene.I do know some stuff about imports but not a lot since i have really only worked on my dad's nova and my uncles 02 turbo vette.(which i am no longer allowed to drive ] Anyways i have just recently bought a 92 integra ls from a good friend. The car is in ment condition but is really to slow for me. I am debating on what i should do with the stock engine. The engine is a B18A1 i was either thinking of just rebuilding it and doing a turbo set up on that or doing an ls/vtec set up, or even just swaping in a b16a1. I really can't decide on which one to do so could you guys give me your 2 cents on what i should do. I want the engine to fairly reliable, and while i'm saving for the turbo which will take a while since i'm on a high school budget (sucks ***) i want the engine too get realy good power n/a. I would like to run 13's n/a. So please give me your knowledge.
If i were to go ahead and do the B16a1 swap how would i do this as in where to get motor mounts and info on swaping a b16 into a teg.
Also If i were to keep the B18A1 what type of power could i get out of it while staying n/a.
Sorry for all the questions i ust need the info.

I don't care what you buy, just sell me the motor thats in it!!! I can't understand why you would want to swap that motor. Build that thing to the gills!! That motor is capable of enormous power. Booooooooooooossssssssttttttt!!

well the b16 will drop right in with facory engine mounts, the ls/vtec is awesoeme, but if its not right its a bomb. and the ls is AWESOME for boost. i ran 8psi through my 91 integra and it was faster than ----. any of the three motors will be great to tune, they all have huge power potential. the best bet would probably be to use a turbo b16. that will probably be the cheapest (i only say this because u say that ur gonna rebuild ur stock engine, which would hint at high miles) good luck with it man, and let me tell u, the second gen integra is an amazing car, love it and treat it well.
