if its track only and you must drive it to the track dont think your in the JGTC or anything and try to get buck wild and you may be ok

You are basically welding the assembly that allows one wheel to spin slower. Its like having one spinning axle. In FWD cars that aren't trailered it equates to disaster.

picture a parade. Taking a corner the people on the outside have to walk faster and people on the inside walk slower because the distance covered is different. The spider gears spin to allow the wheels to spin at different speeds so if you weld them together, and the left wheel is spinning at 50, well maybe taking a turn the right wheel needs to spin 55, now we have a problem. So one of them will be squeal and whatnot, and cause a slew of other problems

Track use good, street use bad.

If you do it get all the slag off because thats what kills the bearings. I glue magnets to the bottom to keep the solid chunks to the bottom because you cant get it all. I also think it will make you hate driving you car

Thats what i usually do with rwd's. but 2 couldnt hurt, i was surprised by the amount of ---- that comes off.
