275-300 whp is a pretty low goal. guys wax that stock block all day

 

Then you don't need half of the fancy high-dollar crap you listed.

LOL, no, 300 whp stock block engines are ------- easy. It's the 400 whp built ones that start becoming difficult, as you (meaning I, as a tuner) have to sort out the assembler's errors and start dealing with ignition problems related to stock coil (unless they upgraded the coil... at no time is a stupid MSD box anything you should install, btw)

That's another thing you can sell, this isn't a ****** NA car where a factory TB becomes too small + starts acting as a restriction, forcing you to drop hundreds of dollars to pick up high single digit horsepower gains We are compressing the air so it doesn't take up as much space, and stock TB does not act as a restriction until much much higher power levels than you are shooting for.

Get a T3/T04E. Inexpensive, good spool, good power level when you want more than 300 whp.

for 300 horse i`d stick with a stock motor, or may be just rod and pistons. then use a t3/04e of some sort like JD said
