Swap for turbo need ideas -

Re:Swap for turbo need ideas -
You can definatly save some money on the swap, See if you can locate a full LS swap, then try to locate a B16a vtec head/oil pump and you will have yourself a poormans vtec (ls/vtec). As far as clutch setup, lots of people like ACT XT/SS for daily driving, it holds a pretty decent amount of power and is still sprung. You can get better clutches but they are all race discs and will engauge like ---- on the street. Intake manifolds are a toss up, I like custom sheetmetal intake manifolds because you just chop the stock manifold up and weld on a huge plenum. Or if you just want to buy one, the JG Vic X unpolished seems to be pretty good for its price.
If you want to put more into cosmetics, maybe you should just keep the D and build it up. A set of rods/pistons and some headwork along with a good turbosetup will make some good power.
