Default "Reverse" mini me timing belt

I'm throwing an A6 head on a Z6 block and I'm using a new A6 timing belt. it seems a bit too long, is this the right belt?

Took your advice and tried it. Too short.

Any other ideas? So far the A6 belt is too long... what other options do I have?

cut the belt

count the teeth, split the difference, look for a new belt. or maybe add another pulley to take slack out

That's what I'm going to try next. I think it's a 106 or 105 tooth belt. Otherwise I'm going to grab an A6 tensioner and see if that works.

Did you get it fixed?? I was wondering how it turned out. I was always told that you should match the timing belt, water pump, and tensioner to what ever head you were using. Hope it worked out
