Default Timing belt tension----how much slack in the belt???

Just got the timing belt into my F22 block, and tightened down the tension adjust bolt, and there seems like their is too much slack in the timing belt. The slack is on the oil pump side of the belt and seems to be about a 1/4" or less of slack (havent measured yet) or about enough to jiggle it about a bit.

This doesnt seem right to me....am I supposed to replace the tension adjuster springs as well? I thought the tensioners were supposed to pretty much set temselves? What am I missing here? or is the belt supposed to have a little slack in it?

the spring isnt enff tention, you have to use a pry bar or that to un slack the belt and then tighten it, just remember that the belt will strech a bit so if its a little slack now it will be a lot slack later
